L. Robert Bennett

L. Robert Bennett was a Paper Mill office employee when he built a
house at what is now Dalton and Marguerite. (This house
was later torn down and dumped in the river when the Millwood Presbyterian Church expanded around 1952.) Bob Bennett eventually became Sales Manager for the Paper Mill. He very much disliked flying so he chose to make all
of his sales trips by train. Bob Bennett was the second person to serve as Millwood's town clerk. |
